Germany’s tallest maypole has been cut down in Lautenbach

The tallest maypole in Germany, with a height of over 60 metres, has been cut down in Lautenbach for the fourth time in a row. The pole has been erected in front of the “Butjadinger Tor” country hotel in Nordenham, North Germany. Before it was erected here, it was taken to Pfaffenhofen in Bavaria, where it was dried and decorated.
